Lunch with Melissa

Sage & I met our good friend Melissa for lunch today....another new friend for Sage. We had a great time catching up on things. Sage missed out as she spent most of lunch sleeping & blowing bubbles (in her sleep). One day she will learn it is rude to sleep (and blow bubbles) through a lunch date! The Boxer Takes a Bath! (April 28, 2009)

Check out our little boxer during & after bath time in her custom monogram robe (given to Sage by her good friends Lori & Bill). While relaxing after bath time, she "put up her dukes" & seemed to be challenging us to a match. Then...she started smiling so we knew she was playing.

Friday night at Bis Abuela's (April 24, 2009)

Sage had a fun visit with her bis abuela (great grandmother). Bis abuela gave Sage an adorable baby lamb rattle ~ Sage's first little lamb. We all dined at Evos ~ one of Mommy's favorite places to eat. Sage also started to attempt to roll over so we placed her on bis abuela's sofa. She keeps making it to her side, her little arm gets stuck & she becomes frustrated. We cannot wait to see her make it all the way over! Sage sitting with grandmother's beautiful red hibiscus tree. Sage turns 2 months old ~ April 24, 2009!

Our sweet girl turned 2 mos on Friday, April 24, 2009. She was in a very good mood when posing for her pictures ~ it's a shame her dress was so slippery as she kept sliding in the chair.

Sage's Workout

Sage & I took our nightly run/walk and she was dressed to feel the burn! Everyone on the trail loves to see her and some commented on her little workout outfit. I will be so happy when she can sit in a jogging stroller as the regular stroller is a bit difficult to push. She seems to love it - especially when we run!

Day at the Mall.....

Sage & I decided to get out today & we hit Citrus Park Mall - specifically checked out Macy's. These are just some shots of Sage enjoying her day of shopping. Chillin' on the diaper changing table in Macy's...

Happy Earth Day!!

We usually plant a tree or large plant on Earth Day. This year Landon is on a biz trip in Denver & NY so Sage & I decided to at least get a new plant we could manage on our own - a beautiful hot pink geranium (one of our favorite colors). Sage seemed to enjoy perusing the garden shop and her new flowers! Sage with her new hot pink geranium.... So happy!!!!

Sage visits the Dunedin Green Market & Casa Tina (April 17, 2009)

It was a gorgeous day so Sage, Grandmama and I decided to take a trip to the Dunedin Green Market and Casa Tina (our favorite mexican restaurant!). Sage really enjoyed the day and she was the STAR of the market as everyone commented on how sweet and beautiful she is. As you can see from the pics....it seems she will love Casa Tina and fruits & vegs as much as her Mommy. Happy to be at Casa Tina... Oops....a little tired from her big day...

Ole' with Papa Marc! (April 14, 2009)

Sage had her first visit to see Papa Marc and to her first Mexican restaurant. She was such a good girl at the restaurant - awake & alert for some of the time (not in this pic) but not a peep out of her. We know she will NEVER partake in "cervezas" and as her daddy says....never date, never marry, etc..... Sage in front of the "cerveza" sign (photo not staged - this was at our table)... First Smile & Coo (6 wks ~ week of April 6, 2009)

Sage's first smiles and coos were at the 6 week mark (week of April 6, 2009). These melt our heart and can make a bad day or day that we are exhausted from lack of sleep instantly disappear. We are tracking these "firsts" on the blog and in her baby book. One of Sage's first smiles...

Happy First Easter! (April 12, 2009)

Sage celebrated her first Easter in style!!! She got dressed up for the occasion and had a big day going to her grandparents' home for dinner and lotsa' Easter baskets and gifts.
