Sage goes to Dunedin (May 29, 2009)
On Friday, May 29 Sage ventured to Dunedin to visit her Grandaddy & Grandmama. Grandmama took us out to lunch at Kelly's ~ a funky little restaurant on Main Street. We walked around downtown and then back to Grandmama's to see Grandaddy. Sage also has a quilt at her Grandparents' so we broke that out and she rolled around and had a lot of fun. Being in the antiques business, Grandmama has a lot to look at in her house, including a new musical "Princess" bear for Sage.

Happy Birthday Amy!!!!! (May 28, 2009)
Sage, Amy & I celebrated Amy's birthday on Thursday, May 28! We had a wonderful lunch at Crisper's and really enjoyed catching up on things. Sadly....I forgot to take a birthday picture of Amy & Sage. Needless to say, Amy looked fabulous and Sage was so excited to see Auntie Amy. They had a lot of playtime together at the restaurant.
Visit to Bis Abuela's (May 27, 2009)
On Wednesday, May 27 Sage made another visit to St. Pete and Bis Abuela's! Bis Abuela broke out Sage's quilt and Sage rolled around on the floor and had a grand time. Sage rolled over on her left side and this seems to be much easier for her. We also went to a really tasty health food restaurant and had spicy black bean burgers and sweet potato fries. Sadly for Sage....all she had was her regular bottle.

Memorial Day 2009 (May 25, 2009)
We had a very relaxing Memorial Day with Sage. In the morning, we took Sage & Max for a stroll on the trail. During our walk, we came across a beautiful osprey nest where the mama was watching out for her babies. In the afternoon, Daddy took Sage for a very quick dip in the pool which she seemed to really enjoy. We relaxed on her soft blanket in the yard and for dinner, Daddy grilled us black bean burgers, steak & corn. We also enjoyed some baked beans and strawberry shortcake. What a fun first Memorial Day with our little cutie!

Sage turns 3 months old ~ May 24, 2009
Today, Sunday ~ May 24, 2009 Sage turns 3 months old. We cannot believe it has been 3 months since our little sweetie was born. She has grown in so many ways since her birth ~ it's truly amazing. Right now, she seems to be going through a growth spurt, is discovering her toes, "talks" a lot to us, continues to be very smiley and loves her blanket babies, Daisy & Susie. She also loves a newer blanket buddy she received this week from Suzanne and her caterpillar that hangs from her bouncy seat.
We are constantly amazed that we are lucky enough to have this little angel as our very own. Sometimes we cannot believe she is a part of our family and the love we feel for her. When we look at her, we realize just how lucky we are to have such a sweet and beautiful baby.
Following are some pictures of Sage on her 3 month birthday. She was so fidgety during her photo shoot and not in a smiling mood. Maybe it was the thought of getting older.

Sage goes to Brandon! (May 22, 2009)
On Friday, May 22 Sage & I went out to Brandon to meet "Auntie" Laena for lunch & some walking around Brandon Mall. Sage was a perfect little girl and smiled at Laena and everyone who stopped to talk to her.
After meeting Laena, we stopped at SteinMart and Sage was the star of the show. At least 5 sales ladies gathered around Sage and went crazy over her. She was showing off her beautiful smile to all of them. In the middle of all the fawning over Sage, she had a BIG bout of gas. It was pretty funny. They asked us to please come back and visit so they can see Sage. She is SO popular!

Sage attends her 1st home staging lunch! (May 19, 2009)
Sage attended her 1st staging meeting/lunch on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Chiang Mai in downtown St. Pete. She was a BIG hit with the stagers and showed off her beautiful smile. I hope as she gets older she will be a good little staging assistant!

Sage's Chuck Taylor All Star Hightops!
Sage loves story time!
Sage is starting to really love story time with her daddy. She gets very quiet & still and loves to look at the pictures. Her favorite pictures seem to be in "Where is Baby's Belly Button?" and "Black on White" (a book that is comprised of black & white pictures). Right after Sage was born, we enrolled her in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This is an amazing organization that works with local libraries to provide free books to children for the first 5 yrs of their life. Sage's first book from the library was "The Little Engine that Could". I walked in on Landon reading it to her and he was changing the story ~ said he was keeping it "fresh". I don't know about that..... Click Here to check out The Imagination Library ~ it's a fantastic organization.

Belated Mother's Day Celebration! (May 15, 2009)
Sage, Daddy & I spent Friday, May 15 with Sage's Bis Abeula & Great Aunt Irene. We took them out for lunch for a belated Mother's Day celebration. We went to "Bowled"....a cool little restaurant in St. Pete that serves most of their dishes in bowls. Sage had a great time visiting with her family and there were a lot of activities. She rolled around on the floor with bis abuela, played the piano, listened to a waltz on a music box, rested in her great aunt's arms and then promptly fell asleep. Today, we noticed that she is trying to roll over on her left side. Up until now, she has been only rolling over on her right side. Maybe she will be ambidextrous!

Sage & Lila!
Sage made another new friend today~ Lila Paige! Lila's mom, Megan, and I met for lunch at where else..the MALL (Countryside Mall). Megan & I met through staging and became very good friends when we discovered we have so much in common. It is such a small world as Landon has a connection to Megan through his mom and her grandfather. They were the first home kidney dialysis patients (back in the 70's) in Pinellas County and Megan's grandfather helped Landon's mom adjust to dialysis. It's amazing our paths crossed at this time in our lives with staging and our little angels. We had a fun lunch and Lila is so adorable and such a smart girl. She made a lot of funny faces at us - so cute.
After lunch, Sage & I visited Aunt Theresa at work. A crowd of Theresa's co-workers gathered around Sage and "oohed & awed" over her. She was such a good girl and showed off a few smiles for the ladies (and one gentleman). I think she likes being the center of attention!
