Sage goes to Venice! (July 31 - Aug 2, 2009)

Sage took her first mini-vacation on July 31 to Venice, FL. We were graciously invited by our good friends, Kristen, Aaron and Sage's "BFF", Mari. Aaron's parents have a gorgeous condo right on the beach so it was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Sage loved spending time with Mari and experiencing the beach life. At breakfast on Sunday, Sage met a pretty green parrot....she was very intrigued by him/her. Sage was so well-behaved on our trip and smiled at everyone with whom she came in contact. It was her first time sleeping away from home and in her pack n'play....she did great and slept like the baby she is. She did keep us up at night with her "scratching" as she tries to crawl in her sleep. We are so relieved as we are taking a beach vacation at the end of this month and now know Sage will do just fine. Sage & Mari playing together...
