Valentine's Day 2010!

We celebrated our first Valentine's Day with Sage and it was a perfect day! Landon was in the spirit early as Sage & I received some pre-Valentine's gifts starting on Wednesday. Landon was out of town and sent his girls an edible arrangement of pineapple, strawberries, melons, chocolate covered apples & chocolate covered strawberries. On Sunday morning, Sage woke up to a big stuffed monkey from Daddy holding a heart that says "Wild About You". Sage also received one red rose from Daddy. We gave her a Valentine's (soft) doll and Clifford The Big Red Dog's First Valentine's Book. I received hot pink tulips and "Pinkalicious" book (book about a little girl who loves pink cupcakes to read to Sage) from Sage, red roses from Landon and we exchanged other gifts & cards. Then, we headed to the Vinoy in St. Pete for Valentine's brunch.

Sage was a perfect little Valentine at brunch and she was adored by everyone at the restaurant. An older couple sitting next to us fell in love with her and said she seems to bring goodwill to everyone as they watched people smile as they passed by and looked at her. We even overheard a husband ask a wife "When will we have one of those?"! The kitchen fixed Sage some dollar-size pancakes which she promptly gobbled up. She also enjoyed some strawberry yogurt. After brunch, we took a walk along the waterfront to enjoy the beautiful weather. A stop at Bisabuela's made the afternoon complete!

Valentine's Day has always been a very special day for us...we were engaged on Valentine's Day. Our Valentine's with Sage is, by far, the BEST heart day we have ever had!
