Sage's first trip to the library!

This morning, Sage & I attended a baby sign language class at the library. I really want to learn more about baby sign language as I have heard it can really improve communication (and alleviate frustration) between you and your baby. I have seen it in action with Megan & Lila and it has been wonderful for them. Sage was such a good girl and seemed to really like the music (the teacher teaches signs to songs & nursery rhymes). There were all ages of babies at the class from 3 months to about 18 months. They also have a "Mommy & Me" class for newborns to 12 months. The class consists of story time, singing and baby exercises....I think we'll hit this class next week. I refrained from taking pictures of Sage at the library ~ did not want to embarrass her at her first class!

How cute - no pictures! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We love sign language and Lila is now signing to other people. One of the Moms at Stroller class asked her if she wanted more crackers and she told her more with a sign. She now does diaper change almost every time she needs it. It is very cool! Have fun with it.
