Sooo....I am little behind on posting as we have been very busy and on vacation. On May 24, Sage turned 15 months and boy is she growing!! Soon after she turned 15 months, she started walking holding our fingers. She LOVES to walk and gets very upset if you try to stop her or pick her up while you're walking together.
Sage had her 15 month check up on Tuesday, June 1. She finally hit the 20 lb mark weighing 20 lbs 8 oz (15%), she is 31" tall (67%) and her head circumference is 18.25" (64%). She is still very petite for her age but gained 2 lbs since her 1 year exam so she's doing great.
Sage still loves reading and looking at books - more than playing with toys. She now says "dada", "mama", "bobo" (what she calls the dog), "bye", "hi", "mee-owww", "ohhhhhhh" and imitates a lot words we say. She continues to love looking at trees and loves to see birds flying. Sage is a pretty good eater but it's still tough getting down the veggies. The only ones I can get her to eat that are not "hidden" in food are carrots with cinnamon. She loves a lot of fruit, cheese & yogurt. She still eats her morning oatmeal or waffles, fruit and on Sunday, she gets dollar size pancakes.
Sage is starting to exhibit a lot of personality and her little temper is starting to show. If you say "No" to something, she will respond "buh buh buh buh..." very forcefully and loudly. She can get very frustrated when you take something from her...especially her cinderella "iPod" and phone. I still receive a lot of comments on how expressive Sage is...she smiles a lot and has a lot of funny facial expressions when people talk to her or she's excited. It does seems she is still very laid back and good-natured and sometimes she seems a little shy. It's so much fun watching her personality develop as she grows!
