The Smith Family: Sage's 1st Boat Ride! (May 28, 2010)

On Friday, May 28 Sage went out for her 1st boat ride! We are preparing for our trip to the keys and wanted to make sure Sage is comfortable on the boat. We went out on Lake Tarpon as we thought a lake setting is better than the Gulf...just in case Sage was frightened or did not like the boat. Well....no worries there as Sage had a ball and seems to love boating. She does not mind her life vest, even though her chin(s) seem to get in the way of the vest! The (loud) roar of the motor did not bother her nor did the wind in her face. She just turned her face in the other direction.

We docked at the Tarpon Turtle and had a nice lunch where Sage was the star of the place! She was in an extra good mood and smiling, waving and giggling at all the servers and patrons. Someone stopped by and said we should charge admission for all the joy and entertainment Sage was bringing to everyone and some waitresses thanked us for bringing in Sage and making their day!

We are very thankful the day was such a success and our little girl is on her way to a very fun & adventurous life!
