Sage's nap/eating schedule was so off on this trip and it did not affect her one bit! I was very concerned the 1st few times as I thought she would be fussy. Not our sweet girl....she was a very good-natured happy baby. She did not nap most mornings and afternoons and she stayed up until 10:30, 11 and even 11:15 in the evenings. She made up for it on the ride home. She fell asleep around 10:30 am in the hotel room and did not wake up until about 4:30 that afternoon. As with Thanksgiving and other gatherings, she seems to want to be a part of all the action!
We had such a nice time visiting and Karen was so wonderful planning out activities, lunch and dinner. It was pretty cold yet we still managed to take a few walks....some about 4 miles round-trip to/from Aunt Callie & Uncle Charles'. New Year's Eve we went out to dinner and then to Aunt Callie & Uncle Charles' for a toast. New Year's Day we met Chip & Karen for lunch and then back to their home for homemade banana bread and a tour of their amazing & unique "treehouse" and gardens. New Year's Day night, we all gathered at Aunt Callie & Uncle Charles' for the Gators game and some homemade lemon chiffon pie (compliments of Uncle Charles & his lemon tree!).
The morning of our trip...Sage is in her "gated" room watching us pack up everything ~ we think she looks like a little prisoner but she does not mind the gate and loves playing in her room!
In our hotel room the night of our arrival getting ready to go meet her family! Check out her red nose ~
